Board Position Descriptions
President:
It is the responsibility of the President to carry out the directions and goals of the Board, oversee the general operations of the Association, make day-to-day decisions regarding the daily management of the Association, and to coordinate the actions of the Committees. It is also the responsibility of the President to direct and run Board meetings. The President maintains direct responsibility of communicating the actions of the Legislative and Ethics committees and is the NAHU/CSAHU Ambassador to the Executive Board.
President Elect:
It is the responsibility of the President Elect, in conjunction with the Executive Board, to assist the President in carrying out the directions and goals of the Board and to act in the President’s role in the President’s absence. The President Elect oversees the communication of the actions of any assigned committees to the Executive Board. The President Elect maintains direct responsibility of communicating the actions of the Committee’s) assigned by the President to the Executive Board.
Vice President:
It is the responsibility of the Vice President, in conjunction with the Executive Board, to assist the President in carrying out the directions and goals of the Board and to act in the President’s role in the President and President Elect’s absence. The Vice President oversees the communication of the actions of the any assigned committees to the Executive Board. The Vice President maintains direct responsibility of communicating the actions of the Committee’s) assigned by the President to the Executive Board.
